IELTS ACADEMIC Writing requires you to organise ideas clearly, use appropriate vocabulary and grammar, and respond accurately to the task. The Academic Writing test contains two tasks.

In Task 1, you describe visual information such as graphs, charts, tables, maps or processes. In Task 2, you write an essay in response to a point of view, argument or problem.
